I wanted a love
So perfect and fine
For someone to love me
Because it's about time
I waited so long
For someone to care
To love me for me
And always be there
I was waiting for someone
Someone like you
But is it for real?
Tell me, is it true?
Do you really love me
Or is it all on my head?
Is it something you meant
Or just something you said?
Now I know that it's true
Of this I am sure.
You're everything I want
I could never ask for more.
I wanted a love
Like you; perfect and fine
They say nothing is perfect.
But that is a lie.
